Halong Bay is located in Quáng Ninh province, Vietnam. The bay features thousands of limestone karsts and isles in various sizes and shapes. The bay has a 120 kilometre long coastline and is approximately 1,553 square kilometres in size with 1969 islets. Several of the islands are hollow, with enormous caves, other support floating villages of fishermen, who ply the shallow waters for 200 species of fish and 450 different kinds of mollusks. Another specific feature of Halong Bay is the abundance of lakes inside the limestone islands, for example, Dau Be island has six enclosed lakes. All these island lakes occupy drowned dolines within fengcong karst.
Day 1: Ha Noi – Ha Long
7.45: You will be picked up at your hotel.
8.15: Leave Ha Noi and departure for 3 hours and a half by bus to Ha Long City. Have a short break for 20 minutes on the half way.
11.30: Our crew will welcome you on board with drinks, fresh seafood lunch. You will check in your cabins and start cruising around the bay to see the amazing karsts with different formations: Lion, Tea Pot, Toad, Dau Nguoi (Human Head) islets and then stop to visit the Sung Sot or Amazing Cave, the biggest one in Halong Bay. Later on, you‘ll have a plenty of time for swimming and sunbathing. You‘ll also have chance to enjoy a wonderful sunset. Following dinner, you‘ll retire to the comfort of your cabins.
Day 2: Ha Long Bay - Ha Noi
If you like to enjoy the sunrise on Halong Bay, please get up early at 6.30. You‘ll have breakfast at 7.30 when your boat starts cruising around Ha Long Bay. After that we will come back to Ha Long city for lunch in the restaurant before return to Ha Noi city. Arrive in Ha Noi at around 16.00, finish the tour.
